AirTanker provides the RAF with Air-to-Air Refuelling, Air Transport and Aeromedical capability in the Voyager. Based on the modern Airbus A330-200 passenger aircraft, the Voyager provides the RAF with a Step change in reliability and capability; maintaining and supporting UK Defence operations.

Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) is one of the UK’s premier outdoor annual events and it returns this summer with an extravaganza of entertainment throughout 14-16 July.  Visitors will see up to 8 hours of flying displays each day (4 hours on Friday) along with the opportunity to visit a number of aircraft in the static aircraft village and interact with the crews.

Phill Blundell, Chief Executive Officer AirTanker Ltd, is delighted to present the Voyager again at RIAT this year.  He said:

“RIAT is a fantastic event which sees many visitors from around the world throughout the weekend. We are very proud that the Voyager will be among the static aircraft on display and to be involved in this event – as RIAT states, the aircraft are the stars of the show and we look forward to sharing the Voyager experience with the crowds again this year.”

The Voyager is a major attraction at RIAT and has seen many eager visitors pass through its doors to experience its impressive capabilities and understand its dynamic operation within the RAF and the civil market.

Paul Kimberley, Managing Director AirTanker Services Ltd is proud that Voyager will once again be on display. He said:

“Voyager’s unique and flexible capability continues to be a source of amazement and interest not only with the general public but also within the aviation industry. Working in close collaboration with the RAF, we are able to support this event and we look forward to meeting new visitors and showcasing the extraordinary versatility of the aircraft and its crew.”
